Let me begin by introducing myself. I am İzzet İşnas, born in a humble village in Anatolia. Because of my education, I kept my distance from alternative medicine for a long time. However, through life experiences, I learned how valuable and healing plants truly are.

While studying Biology at Istanbul University, one of my professors once told me:

“Research the plants that people in your village use for health. If they really work, you’ll make a great discovery.”

My mother became ill many times, and no matter how often we went to the hospital, she couldn’t recover — until we discovered alternative medicine. I’d like to share one of those experiences with you. My mother had struggled with obesity and fatty liver disease for many years. One day, a friend suggested she try consuming rhubarb root (uçkun kökü). That same year, my brother brought some from the mountains, and my mother used it regularly for about six months.

Later, when we returned to the hospital, the doctor was astonished by the results.
“Your mother’s liver is completely clean, perfectly healthy! What did you use?” he asked.
“Rhubarb root,” I replied.

The doctor smiled and said, “Keep doing exactly that.”

That moment changed my life. I realized I had found a path that could both help people and honor the wisdom of nature. That’s why I decided to collect rhubarb roots from the mountains and distribute them for free — to serve others and to share this story. 🌿
